Our studio faculty strives to inspire and motivate each individual student while instructing in the beautiful art of dance. Our purpose is not only to demonstrate basic rhythm and movement, but also to teach our students to move with grace and elegance, and to offer numerous performance opportunities. We are committed to encouraging our students while giving them the confidence they need to reach their full potential- whether for a simple performance or to the larger stages.

Each one of our programs prepares students for the following year when they graduate to higher dance levels. Our programs aim to have all our students at a point where they can dance set work on their own, memorize simple exercises and combinations, and understand music and rhythm at the end of each year.
EnRich Ballet Classes
Originating in France, ballet is a form of theatrical dance that has evolved over the past 300 years. Today, ballet is the most powerful, intricate and elegant form of dance. Our ballet classes are specifically formatted to build a quality foundation to develop proper placement and technique in our dancers, with a focus in teaching the fundamentals of the ballet barre and center work. Ballet barre exercises develop strength, coordination, posture and flexibility, while center work allows the student to practice classic ballet principles.
All ballet classes are taught in the Cecchetti method with French terminology and classical music, focusing mainly on classical ballet technique, proper placement, carriage, grace and poise, and an overall dance appreciation. Physical discipline, body awareness and postural control form the basis of our ballet program. Careful instruction is given to gain proper turn-out and strength, without overstressing the body.
Since ballet is the most disciplined dance form, our students learn to respect the grace and beauty that evolves from such a highly demanding activity. Our studio starts students in ballet at two and a half onto higher levels of ballet. Our Pre- School Program starts with basic movements, taught through fun and creative activities, and our Recreational classes (5- 18 year olds) program progresses on to learning positions, barre exercises, steps, jumps, and turns.
*Ballet class attire requirements: pink tights, black leotard, pink leather ballet shoes, hair neatly secured off face.
EnRich Jazz Classes
Jazz dancing describes many ways of modern theatrical dancing. Often seen on Broadway, Jazz is an American dance form that evolves and changes with the latest popular styles. Jazz technique is based on the natural movement of the body and is designed to increase body control and coordination. Jazz dance also teaches rhythm, stage presence, basic to advanced jazz steps, balance, coordination, turns, leaps and routines.
At EnRich, we believe students must learn proper, classical fundamentals based on techniques of modern jazz. However, students learn various styles of this classical dance form, with introductions to hip-hop, contemporary and Broadway. Our jazz students are encouraged to add their own personality to make each jazz step unique and fun. Our jazz classes include stretching and strengthening, placement, technique and coordination exercises, progressions, and combinations. Jazz steps include basic turns including chaines, piques, pirouettes, jazz and ballet turns. Leaps include grande jetes, turning jumps, and tour jetes. Classes include warm ups, across the floor combinations and routines set to upbeat, modern and contemporary music.
We also strongly recommend that jazz students study ballet, since ballet technique is used in the upper level jazz classes.
*Jazz class requirements: black tights (pink if combination class), leotard, black leather jazz shoes, hair neatly secured off face, may wear black jazz pants and camisole.
EnRich Tap Classes
Tap is a form of dance characterized by a tapping sound that is created from metal plates attached to both the ball and heel of the shoe, requiring a great deal of coordination and skill. These taps create a percussive sound and as such, tap dance is both a form of dance as well as the act of playing a musical instrument.
Our studio starts children in tap at two and a half years-old onto higher levels of classes, where we teach basic tap technique while introduce students to spatial and musical movements. Our tap classes are fast-paced, challenging and fun, integrating new and progressive music and rhythmic foot patterns and steps. Our students explore the intricacies of rhythm and musicality using the feet as their musical instrument also developing proper execution and an awareness of sound clarity.
Throughout the course of the year, we also teach and honor the history and origin of this art form. Young students are taught at a slower pace, which helps build up their coordination and skills. Various styles are taught including traditional, rhythm, Broadway and musicality tap, in addition to combining the technique of tap dancing with nostalgic to modern styles.
*Tap class attire requirements: black patent leather tap shoes, tights (pink if combination class), black leotard, hair neatly secured off face, may wear black jazz pants and camisole.

The Competitive Company
EnRich is the new home of Jana Brown's Centerstage Dance Company. With this new venture, Jana and Marcus will be able to bring more opportunities, training techniques, and a better environment for these talented dancers. Since 2007, Jana Brown's Centerstage dancers have worked hard to make their Company a known name in the local and national dance scene. Dancers have also soared on philanthropical levels, by producing shows and fundraising. In 2016, Jana Brown's Centerstage Dancers show "Dance Hope Cure" raised over $25,000 for childhood cancer.
Our competitive dance company is geared toward students aged five through high school, who are interested in a challenging dance atmosphere and more performance opportunities. Our faculty members personally select our competitive company dancers based on their technique, dedication, desire, talent, and good behavior. Subsequently, these students are leveled into the competitive company through a thorough and formal evaluation given by our staff and adjudicated by outside dance professionals. Company students are introduced to all styles of dance from ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary to modern, hip-hop and lyrical. Our competitive company focuses on developing a good, solid technical foundation with an emphasis on ballet.
Dancers who join the competitive company are focused on investing a lot of hours in the company, and know it’s competitive. Dancers of this competitive company are required to train from 2 hours - 15 hours per week depending on their age, level, and desire. Competitive company dancers are also encouraged to enroll in other styles as well. We believe in training our company dancers with the hope and intent of a professional career and pride ourselves on developing well - rounded dancers who can adjust to any style in an audition or classroom setting. We take careful caution that our competitive dancers do not overstress their bodies, always promoting injury prevention in young dancers.
Our company dancers perform innovative, age - appropriate choreography costumed for a family friendly audience. For those looking to go beyond the local community venues, company dancers can compete in national and international events every year. Centerstage competitive company dancers have won many scholarships to intensives in New York and Los Angeles.
